  • Manage programme finances, including budget monitoring and supervision of Programme Associates.

Candidates should demonstrate strong analytical skills, knowledge of Results Based Management, and the ability to gather and interpret data effectively.

Educational Background:
A Master’s degree in relevant fields such as social sciences, human rights, gender studies, or international development is required. Alternatively, a first-level university degree with additional qualifying experience may be considered. A project management certification would enhance a candidate's profile.

Experience:
At least 2 years of progressively responsible experience in development programme/project implementation, monitoring, evaluation, and donor reporting is required. Experience in the area of ending violence against women is essential, along with a proven track record of coordinating with civil society organizations and managing advocacy initiatives. Familiarity with knowledge management tools and practices is desirable.

Languages:
Fluency in English is mandatory. Knowledge of another official UN language (such as French, Arabic, Chinese, Russian, or Spanish) is considered an asset, enhancing communication and collaboration in a diverse work environment.
