Job Overview:

This position offers hands-on exposure to enterprise AI delivery, modern data platforms, and cross-functional stakeholder engagement, all while making a tangible impact in the humanitarian sector.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Business Analyst will engage with stakeholders to gather insights into business objectives, processes, and pain points. Responsibilities include capturing, analyzing, and documenting comprehensive business and functional requirements, securing formal approvals, and performing gap analysis to compare current processes with client needs and system capabilities. The analyst will define data requirements and processes while tracking related project deliverables and timelines. They will document current-state processes and design future-state processes resulting from data transformation initiatives, support project planning, scope definition, and requirement prioritization, and participate in solution design discussions to ensure requirements are met. The analyst will also link business terms to data assets and assist in mapping and documenting source systems, data pipelines, and datasets, while participating in testing and validation of delivered solutions.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Management, or a related field. A minimum of 3-6 years of professional experience as a Business Analyst is required, with a proven track record in providing high-quality advanced analytics in the private sector. Candidates should demonstrate experience in leveraging leading-edge digital tools, producing advanced analytical reports, and promoting data-driven strategic insights. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for effectively engaging with diverse stakeholders. Knowledge of process improvement tools like Visio and experience working with Agile methodologies are also important.
