Job Overview:
The Senior Integration Officer plays a crucial role in leading the integration casework for refugee households, particularly those resettling in Hampshire under various UK Government Resettlement Programmes. This position focuses on households that are in their second year of engagement with the service, following the initial resettlement period. The Senior Integration Officer will manage a team of two Integration Officers and maintain a caseload of complex integration cases. The role involves providing reflective supervision, ensuring adherence to case management standards, and supporting the use of planning tools like the Outcomes Star. The Senior Integration Officer will also be responsible for building strong relationships with various stakeholders, including local partners and statutory services, to enhance the support provided to resettled households and advocate for their needs.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Senior Integration Officer will hold a 50% caseload capacity, focusing on complex integration cases and providing tailored, strengths-based support to refugee households. Responsibilities include leading group-based integration sessions, developing partnerships with local organizations, and advocating for clients with service providers. The role also involves line managing two Integration Officers, providing them with guidance and support, and ensuring high-quality case management practices. The Senior Integration Officer will oversee safeguarding concerns, conduct risk assessments, and ensure compliance with reporting requirements. Additionally, the position requires administrative tasks such as maintaining accurate case records, monitoring data quality, and contributing to service development discussions.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must demonstrate strong leadership skills in integration delivery, with a proven ability to support clients towards independence. Essential qualifications include excellent written and verbal communication skills, a sound understanding of safeguarding principles, and strong organizational abilities. Proficiency in IT, particularly Microsoft Office, and experience with online meeting platforms are also required. The ability to work flexibly and collaboratively is crucial, as is the capacity to travel within the service delivery area. Desirable qualifications include fluency in Dari and/or Pashto, which would enhance engagement with clients from relevant communities.

Educational Background:

Additional Notes:
This position is a fixed-term contract until 1st June 2027, with a salary of £37,807.81 per annum. Candidates must have the right to work in the UK.
