The internship is designed to be full-time and in-person, although adjustments can be made based on the successful candidate's needs. The anticipated start date for this internship is June 15, 2025, and it is expected to last for six months. The position is unpaid, and interns are responsible for their travel costs, arrangements, and living accommodations. While the internship is primarily in-person, there is flexibility for part-time or remote work arrangements.

Experience in research, policy analysis, or event organization, whether through academic projects or volunteer work, will be advantageous. The internship is designed for individuals who are eager to learn and contribute to the UN's mission, and who possess a strong interest in international affairs and diplomacy.

Languages:
Fluency in spoken and written English is mandatory for this internship, as it is one of the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat. Knowledge of an additional official UN language, such as French, Arabic, Chinese, Russian, or Spanish, is considered an advantage and may enhance the candidate's application.
