Job Overview: The intern position at EBRD is designed to provide support to bankers in various transaction-related processes. This role involves conducting financial analyses of companies and projects, which includes constructing financial projections and cash flow models. The intern will be responsible for gathering data, conducting research, and analyzing information to provide background insights into specific companies or sectors. Additionally, the intern will offer administrative and analytical support in project monitoring, produce reports required during the project cycle, and liaise with the Bank’s internal credit department and other relevant departments. The intern will also draft specific portions of EBRD documents and correspondence, attend meetings with bankers when appropriate, and assist in the Team's Technical Cooperation (TC) Project. Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide administrative and analytical support in specific areas of project monitoring.
Produce reports required during the project cycle and liaise with the Bank’s internal credit department and other relevant departments.
Draft specific assigned portions of EBRD documents and correspondence.
Attend meetings with bankers where appropriate to gain insights and contribute to discussions.
Assist in the Team's Technical Cooperation (TC) Project, providing support as needed.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess proven analytical skills, numerical skills, and financial skills, including the ability to design basic financial models. The ability to work well within a team is essential, along with very good written and verbal communication skills in English. Candidates should also demonstrate a strong commitment to the values of diversity and inclusion, as well as a willingness to engage in a collaborative work environment.
Educational Background: A good relevant degree from a leading university in the country of education is required, preferably in economics, finance, or business. Candidates should also have a strong foundation in computer literacy to effectively perform their duties.
Experience: Some relevant commercial experience is preferred, and experience in other International Financial Institutions (IFIs) or donor experience is considered a plus. The intern should be able to demonstrate a proactive approach to learning and development within the banking sector.
Languages: Fluency in English is mandatory, as it is the primary language of communication within the organization. Additional language skills may be beneficial but are not required.
