Job Overview:
The Field Implementation Manager is a pivotal role within FHI 360, responsible for leading a team of six Field Coordinators. This position focuses on delivering technical assistance and capacity-building activities to various stakeholders, including the Regional Departments of Health and Agriculture, Local Government Units, and private and non-government partners. The Manager will also oversee two STRIDES staff members seconded to the Department of Health. The role requires close collaboration with Technical Leads, the Project Operations Manager, the Finance Team, and consortium partners to ensure effective service delivery aligned with the objectives of the STRIDES program. The position demands a comprehensive understanding of public health challenges and the ability to implement strategic solutions that enhance community capacities and institutional frameworks.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Field Implementation Manager's responsibilities include actively supporting the preparation of the annual work plan and budget, ensuring alignment with STRIDES goals, and coordinating with various stakeholders. The Manager will identify implementation risks and develop mitigation measures to ensure timely activity delivery. Regular supervisory field visits will be conducted to monitor progress and validate implementation status. The Manager will address and resolve technical, administrative, and policy issues affecting activity implementation, prepare monthly performance reports, and ensure adherence to institutional activity development and evaluation systems. Additionally, the Manager will monitor sub-contractor performance, supervise field coordinators, recruit and develop staff, serve as a resource person or trainer, and represent STRIDES and FHI 360 in relevant networks and activities.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a Master's Degree (or equivalent) in public health, epidemiology, health administration, project management, international development, or a related field. A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in implementing public health programs and supervising field teams is typically required. Knowledge of USG and non-USG rules and regulations, funding mechanisms, and contracting principles is essential. Prior experience in an NGO, government agency, or private organization is preferred, along with demonstrated technical leadership and project management skills.

Educational Background:
The ideal candidate should have a Master's Degree or equivalent in a relevant field such as public health, epidemiology, health administration, project management, or international development. This educational background is crucial for understanding the complexities of public health initiatives and the management of related projects.

Experience:
The position requires a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in public health program implementation and field team supervision. Candidates should have a proven track record of managing projects, setting realistic priorities, and successfully implementing activities within the public health sector. Experience in working effectively across various teams and building positive relationships with stakeholders is also essential.

Languages:
Fluency in English and Tagalog is mandatory, with excellent oral and written communication skills. Proficiency in additional languages may be considered an asset, enhancing the ability to engage with diverse communities and stakeholders.

Additional Notes:
The expected hiring salary range for this role is PHP 1,200,000 to 1,700,000 annually for basic salary. The final offer will consider various factors, including relevant experience and education, internal equity, market pay, and budget constraints.
