The role requires a subject matter expert in Data Solutions, overseeing the design and execution of data governance and analytics initiatives. The Associate Senior Data Scientist will manage collaboration with stakeholders and lead the development of statistical models, predictive models, and machine learning techniques to address complex business problems. The position involves leading complex projects, integrating the work of multidisciplinary teams, and contributing to strategy, analysis, and policy formulation. The successful candidate will also identify and evaluate systemic issues, collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, and provide guidance and training to junior staff, ensuring that corporate data is treated as a strategic asset that drives operational efficiency and informed decision-making.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the Associate Senior Data Scientist include managing analytical and advisory services in core areas of data science, leading the development of a data governance framework, and leveraging statistical concepts to guide stakeholders in identifying operational issues and solutions. The role involves designing and implementing data-driven solutions aligned with the bank's strategic vision, managing the development of data models, overseeing data processing and quality assurance, and leading the development of machine learning and AI tools. Additionally, the Associate Senior Data Scientist will translate technical analyses into actionable recommendations for programs and policies, manage the adoption of new concepts to optimize data solutions, and design dashboards, reports, and data portals that enhance decision-making capabilities.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess advanced analytics and modeling expertise, demonstrated mastery in developing and deploying statistical models, predictive analytics, and machine learning algorithms. They should have experience in data design, visualization, and storytelling, applying design thinking to translate complex analyses into clear insights. Proven experience in designing enterprise-wide data governance frameworks and the ability to distill complex statistical analyses into compelling narratives for executive leadership are essential. The role requires a track record of building complete analytical pipelines and mentoring junior data scientists in advanced techniques.

Educational Background:
A Master’s degree in a relevant field is required, along with 8+ years of progressively responsible experience, or a Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Candidates should have proven experience managing global digital engagement platforms and solutions.

Experience:
The position requires significant experience in data science, particularly in developing and deploying statistical models and machine learning algorithms. Candidates should have a strong background in analytics, data governance, and the ability to manage complex projects and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.

Languages:
The mandatory language for this position is English. Proficiency in additional languages is considered a plus, enhancing communication with a broader range of stakeholders.
