Job Overview: The position focuses on project management and implementing partnership coordination within UNICEF's Pacific region. Duties and Responsibilities:
Support overall project planning, execution, and monitoring for assigned initiatives.
Assist in establishing and operationalizing implementing partnership management functions, including risk assessments.
Collaborate with Programme Managers and partners to ensure timely submission of funding requests.
Monitor the liquidation of Direct Cash Transfers.
Collect and analyze qualitative and quantitative program data to support decision-making.
Generate reports, dashboards, and presentations on key performance indicators.
Track budget allocations and expenditures, monitor grant utilization, and prepare grant management reports.
Use AI and digital tools to streamline tasks such as data analysis and report generation.
Draft communication materials for internal and external use. 1
Adapt to shifting program needs and provide support during emergencies or re-prioritization events.
Required Qualifications:
Completion of secondary education is required.
Professional or university courses related to the field of work are highly desirable.
A minimum of six years of administrative or clerical work experience is required, or three years plus two additional years of experience for candidates with a Bachelor's or Master's degree.
Fluency in English is required, with knowledge of another official UN language or local language considered an asset.
Educational Background: The position requires at least completion of secondary education, with additional professional or university courses in relevant fields being highly desirable. This educational background supports the administrative and technical aspects of the role, ensuring that the candidate has a foundational understanding of project management and partnership coordination.
Experience: Candidates should have a minimum of six years of relevant administrative or clerical work experience. Alternatively, candidates with a Bachelor's degree can qualify with three years of experience, while those with a Master's degree can qualify with one additional year of experience.
