Job Overview:
The Match Grant Program Supervisor plays a crucial role in managing and enhancing the provision of Match Grant case work and employment services to participants of the IRC. This position is responsible for ensuring that program goals are met, overseeing financial expenditures, maintaining quality control for service provision, and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations. The supervisor will lead a team of direct service staff and interns, providing them with the necessary support and guidance to deliver high-quality services to clients. The role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to foster a collaborative team environment. The supervisor will also engage in program oversight, ensuring that all documentation and compliance requirements are met, while actively participating in the development of new program opportunities and strategies to enhance service delivery.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Match Grant Program Supervisor will have a wide range of responsibilities, including but not limited to:
  • Staff Management and Coordination: Directly supervise the day-to-day activities of Match Grant staff, providing leadership and support through regular team meetings, individual supervision, coaching, and goal setting. Manage client case assignments and share best practices to enhance service delivery. Address client grievances and work collaboratively with staff to resolve issues of non-compliance and dissatisfaction. Ensure compliance with program guidelines and agency policies.
  • Program Oversight: Ensure that the program meets all funder and agency requirements for documentation, case files, and data tracking. Participate in monthly reviews of cash assistance eligibility and payment issuance. Conduct quality assurance efforts through periodic case file reviews and produce timely program reports for IRC headquarters and funders. Assist in grant writing and the development of new program opportunities.
  • Client Services: Oversee the implementation of programs to ensure compliance with IRC standards of care. Track enrolled clients using proprietary database systems and maintain communication with staff regarding challenging cases. Identify opportunities to promote gender equality and develop relationships with employers to create job opportunities for clients. Provide direct client services as needed.
  • Team/Office Participation: Actively participate in program meetings and staff development activities, representing the IRC Dallas office in the community and developing partnerships with local organizations and stakeholders. Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree, preferably in Social Work, Human Services, or a related field, or have equivalent work experience. A minimum of three years of experience in case management or securing employment opportunities for clients is required, particularly in refugee resettlement or workforce development. Experience in supervising, supporting, and training staff is essential. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to promote an organizational culture that reflects IRC’s core values of service, accountability, integrity, and equality. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment are necessary, along with excellent written and oral communication skills in English. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required, and a valid driver’s license with access to a personal vehicle is necessary.

Educational Background:
A bachelor’s degree is required for this position, with a preference for degrees in Social Work, Human Services, or related fields. Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree, particularly in relevant areas such as case management or workforce development.

Experience:
The position requires a minimum of three years of relevant experience, particularly in case management or securing employment opportunities for clients. Experience in supervising and training staff is also essential, along with a demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment and promote collaboration among team members.

Languages:
Fluency in English is mandatory, with proficiency in additional languages spoken by client populations being a plus. Preferred languages include Arabic, Dari, Pashto, Spanish, Burmese, Rohingya, Swahili, and Kinyarwanda, which can enhance communication with clients and improve service delivery.

Additional Notes:
The working environment for this position includes a combination of standard office settings, remote work, and field time within the service delivery area. The role may require occasional weekend and evening work. The compensation for this position is competitive, with a pay range of $63,296, and benefits include sick days, paid time off, medical and dental insurance, a retirement savings plan, and an Employee Assistance Program.
