Job Overview:
The Log/Admin Manager will oversee the support departments for the Emergency Preparedness and Response (EP&R) team and ensure the coordination of Emergency Rapid Response Mechanism (ERRM) operations within the ERRM consortium. The EP&R team is deployed for up to two months in remote areas to respond to alerts such as floods, epidemics, and IDP influxes. The Log/Admin Manager will coordinate the logistics, administration, and HR processes of the deployable teams, acting as a liaison with the coordination office and security" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">security in Juba. This role also involves revising and developing necessary tools, standard operating procedures (SOPs), policies, and guidelines for the EP&R team to ensure flexibility and control within the program.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Log/Admin Manager will be responsible for coordinating the logistics and administrative functions of the EP&R team, ensuring that all operations run smoothly and efficiently. This includes managing the logistics of deploying teams to remote areas, overseeing the administration of personnel, and ensuring compliance with organizational policies and procedures. The manager will also be tasked with developing and implementing SOPs and guidelines for the team, ensuring that all staff are trained and equipped to respond effectively to emergencies. Additionally, the Log/Admin Manager will maintain communication with various departments and teams, prioritize tasks, and manage resources effectively to meet the needs of the mission.

Candidates must have a minimum of 3-4 years of experience in the humanitarian sector, with at least 3-4 years in similar positions. Technical skills required include familiarity with SI processes and tools, prior experience with SI or a similar NGO, and experience working with emergency teams or in volatile/remote contexts. Remote management skills are essential, along with critical and practical thinking abilities to adapt to changing situations while maintaining a long-term strategy. Transversal skills such as organization, priority management, and effective communication are also necessary for this role.
