Job Overview:

The successful candidate will be responsible for the analysis, development, implementation, and operation of the WallStreet System Commercial Loan Module (WSS-CLM) application, which is essential for managing the EIB's lending business. Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the Associate Financial Systems Business Analyst include participating in projects related to the bank's operations, ensuring successful project delivery within agreed scope, time, and budget. The candidate will act as a project manager for business projects in lending, serve as a business analyst in bank-wide projects, and maintain and support key business processes related to the application. This includes providing functional support to business users, analyzing requirements, managing change requests, and conducting User Acceptance Testing (UAT). The role also involves configuring lending applications, offering specialist advice on complex issues, building relationships with external institutions, and identifying opportunities for AI integration to improve operational efficiency. The candidate will be expected to handle incidents, propose solutions, and document processes effectively.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a university degree, preferably in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field. A minimum of three years of relevant professional experience is required, ideally within the financial sector or consulting firms, focusing on financial systems, process optimization, or technology-driven projects. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of the EIB's mission and operational framework, functional knowledge of financial software packages, and solid technical knowledge of application architecture and data flows. Proven experience in project management principles and methodologies, such as PM² or Scrum, is essential. Additionally, candidates should demonstrate awareness of AI-driven solutions in financial operations and the ability to identify opportunities for AI integration within system workflows.

Educational Background:
The educational background required for this position includes a university degree equivalent to a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field. This foundational education is critical for understanding the complexities of financial systems and the operational needs of the EIB.

Experience:
The position requires at least three years of relevant professional experience, ideally in roles that involve financial systems, process optimization, or technology-driven projects. Experience in project management and exposure to digital transformation initiatives are highly valued, as they contribute to the candidate's ability to manage projects effectively and implement innovative solutions within the bank's operations.

Languages:
