Job Overview: As an ESA Graduate Trainee in Space Transportation Technology Coordination, you will be involved in critical preparatory activities that support the development of future European transportation capabilities. You will engage in various activities related to Human Space Transportation and Reusable Upper Stage Demonstrators, contributing to project management, compliance assessments, and technology monitoring. Duties and Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities of the ESA Graduate Trainee include:
Supporting project management of industrial activities, including reporting, action tracking, risk assessment, and planning.
Participating in industrial system studies to evaluate compliance with high-level requirements such as mission needs and performance metrics.
Assisting in project reviews, particularly focusing on technical specifications and interface requirements.
Monitoring technologies with low readiness levels and proposing maturation strategies.
Elaborating technical syntheses on critical and enabling technologies relevant to space transportation.
Supporting the development of technology roadmaps that align with ESA's strategic objectives.
Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to foster innovation and efficiency in project execution.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating the ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
