Job Overview: The Program Officer plays a crucial role in supporting the implementation of the STRengthening Infectious disease DEtection Systems (STRIDES) Activity in Indonesia. This position involves providing essential coordination, administrative, and logistical support to ensure the smooth operation of the program. The Program Officer will facilitate approvals, organize meetings, and manage training sessions while ensuring compliance with FHI 360 policies. This role also includes supporting subcontractor planning and budgeting, ensuring alignment with STRIDES’ objectives, and maintaining compliance-related documentation. The Program Officer will work closely with the technical team to prepare presentations and support various project objectives and deliverables, making it a pivotal position in the successful execution of the program.
Duties and Responsibilities: The Program Officer is responsible for a wide range of duties, including but not limited to: providing support to project management, delivering presentations, and leading meetings in collaboration with the STRIDES Indonesia team; assisting in obtaining necessary approvals from government divisions for various program activities; planning and organizing logistical arrangements for meetings, workshops, and training events; drafting meeting agendas and notes, and ensuring timely sharing of finalized documents; processing program advances and event-related expenses in coordination with finance and administration teams; preparing consultant and subcontract agreements, Terms of Reference, and other program-related documentation; monitoring subcontractor deliverables and maintaining documentation for audits; liaising with subcontractors and consultants to facilitate communication; providing administrative support for staff and visitor travel; supporting procurement processes; reviewing expense reports and invoices; maintaining accurate program records; and performing other programmatic and administrative duties as assigned by the Program Manager and director" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">Country Director.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in business administration, social sciences, or a relevant field, along with a minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience. A Master’s degree in a related field is preferred. The ideal candidate should have experience in planning, coordination, communication, and collaboration with multiple teams, as well as the ability to manage office operations and provide general administrative support. Strong attention to detail, the ability to maintain accurate records, and proficiency in managing multiple tasks in a virtual work environment are essential. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills are also required, along with experience using Microsoft Office tools.
Educational Background: The educational background required for this position includes a Bachelor's degree in business administration, social sciences, or any relevant field. A Master’s degree in a related field is preferred, indicating a higher level of expertise and understanding of the complexities involved in program management and implementation.
Experience: The position requires a minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience, particularly in planning, coordination, and communication within a programmatic context. Candidates should have a proven track record of effectively collaborating with various teams and stakeholders, including NGOs, government entities, and private sectors. Experience in managing office operations and coordinating logistics for events and training sessions is also essential.
Languages: Fluency in English is mandatory, with excellent oral and written communication skills required for documentation and reporting. Proficiency in Tagalog is also necessary, as it will facilitate communication with local stakeholders and enhance the effectiveness of program implementation.
Additional Notes: This position is full-time and offers a competitive salary range of IDR 164,000,000 to 200,000,000 annually for basic salary. The hiring salary will be determined based on various factors, including relevant experience and education.
