Job Overview: The IT Transformation Management Analyst (Agile Coach) plays a crucial role in supporting enterprise IT transformation initiatives that align with the World Bank Group's institutional priorities. This position is focused on fostering digital, cultural, and organizational shifts that enhance effectiveness and resilience within the organization. The analyst will work closely with various teams across the Information and Technology Solutions (ITS) and the World Bank Group (WBG) to translate strategic priorities into actionable plans, ensuring that the organization is prepared for scalable implementation of Agile practices. The role emphasizes stakeholder engagement, building Agile capabilities, and reinforcing change practices as sustainable competencies within the organization. The analyst will contribute to strengthening stakeholder alignment, enhancing ownership and accountability, and ensuring transparency in execution readiness.
Duties and Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities of the IT Transformation Management Analyst include: A. Agile Ways of Working Enablement & Delivery Coaching: Coaching teams and leaders in adopting Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban, facilitating workshops to clarify goals and improve collaboration, supporting effective backlog management, identifying and resolving delivery bottlenecks, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. B. Team Formation, Collaboration & Ownership Clarity: Assisting teams in defining roles and responsibilities, enhancing collaboration across functions, facilitating structured conversations for alignment, and proposing improvements to organizational structures that hinder teamwork. C. Execution Visibility, Flow & Tooling Practices: Supporting teams in utilizing enterprise delivery tools like Azure DevOps for work management, encouraging consistent practices for backlog hygiene and delivery tracking, and providing insights to leadership on delivery patterns. D. Leadership Enablement & Continuous Improvement: Partnering with leaders to strengthen understanding of Agile principles, facilitating retrospectives and learning sessions, and providing guidance for adapting Agile practices to specific contexts. E. Stakeholder Engagement & Executive Communication: Engaging with stakeholders to build understanding of Agile practices, communicating with executive leadership about the benefits of Agile, translating Agile frameworks into clear narratives for non-technical audiences, and fostering open dialogue to align expectations and reinforce shared ownership of transformation outcomes.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a Master's degree with at least 2 years of relevant experience or a Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Additionally, candidates should have experience in supporting IT operating model change, transformation enablement, and organizational change. Proficiency in using delivery and planning tools such as Azure DevOps or Jira is essential. Certifications such as SAFe Program Consultant (SPC), SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM), Scrum, Kanban, or enterprise Agile coaching certifications are required, along with knowledge of Design Thinking and change enablement methodologies.
Educational Background: The educational background required for this position includes a Master's degree in a relevant field, such as Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related discipline, or a Bachelor's degree with significant relevant experience. Candidates should have a strong foundation in Agile methodologies and change management principles, supported by appropriate certifications that demonstrate their expertise in these areas.
Experience: The position requires candidates to have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience if they hold a Master's degree, or at least 4 years of relevant experience if they have a Bachelor's degree. This experience should include a background in IT operating model change, transformation enablement, and organizational change, as well as familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools used in project management and delivery.
