This initiative aims to create clear pathways for personal growth, improved livelihoods, and meaningful community participation, supporting students through scholarships, provision of learning materials, mentorship sessions, and skills training workshops. Through these interventions, PV empowers young people to take charge of their futures, break the cycle of poverty, and become agents of positive change in their communities.

Job Overview:
The Online Fundraising Volunteer position is designed for passionate, results-driven individuals with proven experience in fundraising and a strong understanding of crowdfunding platforms. The ideal candidates will have a successful track record in resource mobilization and the ability to contribute strategically to the design and execution of fundraising initiatives. Candidates should possess an active and engaging social media presence, capable of leveraging digital platforms to drive outreach, increase visibility, and mobilize support for the organization's cause. The role requires the ability to design, launch, and manage comprehensive online fundraising campaigns that effectively connect storytelling, donor engagement, and impact. Volunteers will play a critical role in strengthening the project’s digital footprint by growing and engaging online communities, expanding followers, increasing reach, and boosting meaningful interactions. Through these efforts, they will help build long-term donor relationships, enhance public awareness, and cultivate a strong, mission-driven support base that sustains and scales the organization's impact.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The key responsibilities of the Online Fundraising Volunteer are divided into two main areas: Online Fundraising Campaign Development & Execution (60%) and Social Media Visibility & Content Strategy (40%). In the first area, volunteers will design and implement a comprehensive online fundraising strategy that incorporates crowdfunding, recurring giving, corporate sponsorships, and one-time donations. They will promote the established GlobalGiving fundraising platform and integrate it with social media platforms and the organization's website. Volunteers will develop compelling campaign assets, including storytelling videos, impact narratives, donor tiers, real-time progress trackers, and donor appreciation/thank-you campaigns. They will also create and manage donor engagement journeys through email, SMS, and WhatsApp, including nurturing sequences and monthly impact reports. Monitoring, analyzing, and optimizing fundraising performance using tools such as Google Analytics and platform dashboards will be essential. Additionally, volunteers will identify, engage, and pitch to micro-corporate partners and potential major individual donors to expand funding opportunities. In the second area, volunteers will manage and grow all official social media channels, including Instagram, Facebook, X (Twitter), LinkedIn, TikTok, and WhatsApp. They will develop and execute a 90-day content calendar centered on education impact stories, behind-the-scenes insights, donor spotlights, live fundraising events, and clear calls-to-action. Producing high-quality, engaging content that connects storytelling with fundraising goals will be crucial. Volunteers will also plan and manage targeted paid social media campaigns to maximize reach, engagement, and conversions. Building and actively moderating an engaged online community by responding to comments, messages, and fostering meaningful donor relationships will be part of their responsibilities. Collaboration with beneficiaries, volunteers, and partners to generate authentic user-generated content that strengthens credibility and emotional connection with the audience will also be expected. It is important to note that Online Volunteers will not be required or permitted to directly solicit donations or funds from third parties; their role is strictly limited to research, strategy development, advisory support, and content creation in line with ethical fundraising practices.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess proven experience in fundraising, particularly in online and crowdfunding platforms. A strong understanding of resource mobilization strategies and the ability to design and execute effective fundraising initiatives are essential. Ideal candidates should have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to create compelling narratives that resonate with potential donors.
