Job Overview:
The Business Systems Analyst plays a crucial role within the IT department of the IRC, which is responsible for delivering comprehensive solutions that encompass Application Development, Integration and Management, Enterprise Architecture, User Experience, Quality Assurance & Testing, and Project Management. This position is pivotal in enhancing the deployment and efficiency of business applications that align with IRC's mission, particularly in the domains of financial management, supply chain operations, and project management. The analyst will work closely with IT colleagues and business partners to ensure that the systems implemented meet the needs of end users while adhering to organizational policies and compliance standards. The role requires a proactive approach to understanding and improving business processes, ensuring that the technology solutions provided are effective and sustainable.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Business Systems Analyst will be responsible for collecting and assessing system requirements from business users to ensure the seamless configuration and delivery of business applications. This includes leading the administration and support of enterprise business systems utilized across various departments such as finance, supply chain, and HR. The analyst will also manage relationships with software vendors and implementation partners to facilitate system enhancements and resolve issues. Additionally, the role involves documenting business processes, system configurations, data flows, and security" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">security models, as well as coordinating with QA teams to support testing across systems. The analyst will be expected to stay updated on industry trends and technologies relevant to enterprise business systems, ensuring that IRC's systems remain competitive and effective.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field, along with a minimum of 4 years of experience in crafting and supporting enterprise business systems. Equivalent experience may also be considered. Proven skills in gathering, analyzing, and detailing cross-functional business, functional, and technical requirements are essential, as is experience with enterprise system testing, including case development and execution. Proficiency in system administration, support, and change management in a global or multi-site environment is required, along with a strong understanding of Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations ERP concepts and functionalities. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary to convey complex information clearly, and candidates should demonstrate strong attention to detail, active listening, and analytical thinking.

Educational Background:
A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field is required for this position. An advanced degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration or Information Systems is preferred, particularly for candidates with a background in the NGO or nonprofit sector.

Experience:
The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of relevant experience in supporting and crafting enterprise business systems. Experience in the NGO or nonprofit sector, especially in environments with limited bandwidth, is considered a plus. Candidates should have a proven track record of working independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams, demonstrating the ability to build and maintain relationships across diverse teams and organizational levels.

Languages:
Proficiency in English is mandatory, as the role requires clear communication of complex information. Additional language skills may be beneficial but are not specified as mandatory for this position.
