Job Overview: The Digital Impact Specialist role is situated within the Digital Center of Excellence (DCOE) at UNICEF, which is pivotal in reshaping how the organization delivers lasting results for children through digital transformation. Duties and Responsibilities:
Support the global deployment and scale-up of Digital Impact products, ensuring they meet the needs of various stakeholders.
Engage in product evolution by providing insights and recommendations based on user feedback and technological advancements.
Conduct research and evaluate new technologies that can be integrated into UNICEF's digital strategy.
Offer expert advice and support to Country Offices and Regional Offices in implementing digital solutions that align with UNICEF's objectives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive the broader digital transformation agenda within UNICEF.
Foster relationships with key stakeholders to promote the adoption of digital tools and practices.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in digital technology to inform UNICEF's strategies.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a Master’s degree or equivalent in fields such as Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Management, or related areas. Alternatively, a Bachelor’s degree combined with two additional years of relevant work experience may be accepted in lieu of an advanced degree. Applicants should have at least five years of relevant work experience in areas such as Information Communication Technology, Software Development, Product Management, Technology Consulting, or Project Management. Familiarity with RapidPro and ODK data collection tools, as well as a solid understanding of digital public goods, is essential. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements are also required.
