Job Overview:
The Online Volunteer will work under the supervision of the UNFPA South Sudan Programme Specialist - Gender, focusing on strengthening Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA) systems. The role involves conducting a review of existing PSEA frameworks, identifying gaps and risks, and supporting the development of capacity enhancement plans for partners. The volunteer will also create practical PSEA tools, enhance community awareness, and contribute to training and knowledge sharing. This position emphasizes prevention and capacity building rather than handling complaints or conducting investigations, ensuring adherence to 'Do No Harm' principles and confidentiality.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties of the Online Volunteer include conducting a desk review of UNFPA PSEA frameworks and partner agreements, identifying systemic gaps and risks, supporting the development of capacity enhancement plans, providing technical guidance on PSEA standards, facilitating coaching sessions, developing user-friendly PSEA materials, adapting communication materials into local languages, strengthening community-based complaint mechanisms, developing training modules, supporting virtual orientation sessions, and maintaining a secure tracking system for partner compliance and capacity gaps. The volunteer will also prepare a final analytical report summarizing findings and recommendations.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates should possess strong analytical skills, experience in capacity building, and familiarity with PSEA frameworks. They should demonstrate the ability to develop training materials and facilitate sessions, as well as have excellent communication skills to adapt materials for local contexts. A background in gender studies, social work, or a related field is preferred, along with a commitment to safeguarding principles and ethical standards.

Educational Background:
A degree in social sciences, public health, gender studies, or a related field is required. Additional training or certifications in safeguarding, gender-based violence prevention, or related areas will be considered an asset.

Experience:
Candidates should have prior experience working with international organizations, particularly in the areas of gender equality, safeguarding, or humanitarian response. Experience in capacity building and training delivery is essential, along with familiarity with UNFPA's mission and objectives.

Languages:
Fluency in English is mandatory. Knowledge of Arabic or local languages spoken in South Sudan is considered an asset, as it will aid in community engagement and the adaptation of materials.
