Job Overview: The Monitoring and Evaluation Officer will play a crucial role in leading the monitoring, data collection, analysis, and reporting for the Gender-Based Violence (GBV) training program. This position is essential for ensuring that the program is implemented based on evidence and complies with the reporting requirements set by ABT and DFAT. The officer will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive monitoring and evaluation (M&E) plan that aligns with the project’s objectives. This includes the creation of tools and indicators that will facilitate effective data management and reporting. The officer will also be tasked with ensuring the quality and confidentiality of sensitive GBV-related information, which is critical for maintaining ethical standards in data handling. Furthermore, the officer will produce regular M&E reports and dashboards that will be used internally and by donors, supporting outcome tracking and assessments that are vital for program improvement.
Developing and implementing the project M&E plan, tools, and indicators that are aligned with the subcontract.
Collecting, verifying, and managing both quantitative and qualitative data from training activities.
Ensuring data quality, confidentiality, and ethical handling of sensitive GBV-related information.
Producing regular M&E reports, dashboards, and summaries for internal and donor use.
Supporting outcome tracking, pre/post training assessments, and conducting learning reviews.
Documenting lessons learned, success stories, and recommendations for program improvement.
Providing capacity support to training officers and partners on basic data collection and reporting tools.
Ensuring consistent use of monitoring tools across all provinces.
Ensuring compliance with DFAT, ABT, and FHI360 M&E standards. 1
