Job Overview: The Senior Officer will play a pivotal role within the Philanthropic Partnerships team, specifically focusing on the Products & Innovation segment. This position involves leading the development of flagship philanthropic products aimed at unlocking philanthropic capital from ultra-high-net-worth individuals (UHNWI) for global health and development initiatives. The term 'philanthropic product' encompasses a range of mechanisms designed to facilitate large-scale giving, including collaborative funds, bespoke convenings, advisory services, pitch sessions, grant competitions, and blended finance mechanisms. The Senior Officer will work closely with various stakeholders, including colleagues from the PPT team, program strategy teams, external consultants, and leaders of collaborative funds, to enhance the foundation's philanthropic efforts. This role is crucial for expanding the foundation's donor base and enhancing its product offerings, particularly in the context of global health and development priorities.
Duties and Responsibilities: The Senior Officer's responsibilities include designing, developing, and launching philanthropic product offerings that address critical gaps in global health and development, particularly concerning maternal and child survival in Africa and global health research and development.
