A minimum of ten years of professional experience in nuclear power, particularly in design, research, and development activities related to fast reactors, is required. Comprehensive experience in managing scientific projects and familiarity with national/international nuclear organizations is desirable. Excellent command of English is mandatory, and knowledge of other IAEA official languages is an asset.

Educational Background:
The educational background required for this position includes an advanced university degree (Master's) in nuclear or mechanical engineering, or a related scientific/technical discipline. Candidates with a Bachelor's degree in these fields may be considered if they have two additional years of relevant experience. This educational foundation is essential for understanding the complexities of nuclear technology and its applications.

Experience:
The position requires a minimum of ten years of relevant professional experience in the nuclear power sector, with a strong emphasis on design, research, and development activities, particularly in the fast reactor field.
