Job Overview: The Online Volunteer position at ANVCG is designed to enhance the organization's social communication performance, which has been lacking in recent times. Volunteers will work closely with the L'Osservatorio Research and Advocacy Area Manager to develop and implement a social media communication strategy. This role involves planning, scheduling, and publishing content primarily on Instagram and LinkedIn, with a focus on disseminating information about the effects of war on civilians. Volunteers will have the freedom to test new ideas and create effective communication strategies that resonate with the organization's goals and tone of voice. Duties and Responsibilities: The Online Volunteers will be responsible for several key tasks, including:
Planning, scheduling, and publishing content on Instagram and LinkedIn, with a target of five pieces of content (posts, stories, reels) to be published weekly.
Creating engaging visual and written content that aligns with ANVCG's tone of voice and objectives, utilizing available tools or any preferred tools that may enhance performance.
Monitoring and analyzing social media performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of the content and providing actionable suggestions for improvement.
Collaborating with the L'Osservatorio team to ensure that the content reflects the organization's mission and engages the audience effectively.
Staying updated on social media trends and best practices to continuously improve the communication strategy.
Required Qualifications: Candidates for the Online Volunteer position should possess the following qualifications:
Strong understanding of social media platforms, particularly Instagram and LinkedIn, and their respective content strategies.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling content that resonates with diverse audiences.
Basic graphic design skills or familiarity with design tools to create visually appealing content.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team, demonstrating initiative and creativity in developing communication strategies.
