Job Overview:
The primary purpose of the position of Coordinador de Soporte is to ensure that the support functions (Logistics, Administration, and Finance) of the Rapid Response Unit operate effectively and contribute to the execution of programmatic activities in accordance with current manuals and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). The role is crucial in ensuring that support functions are carried out efficiently, effectively, contextually adapted, and with integrity. The Coordinator will manage and supervise support staff in the areas of Finance, Administration, and Logistics, ensuring compliance with NRC policies, guidelines, and legal requirements, as well as donor and auditor requirements. The position also involves contributing to the development, management, and monitoring of planned operational and support activities, identifying solutions to everyday problems, and preparing necessary reports for management decision-making.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Coordinator will be responsible for managing and supervising the support staff across Finance, Administration, and Logistics within the Rapid Response Unit. Key responsibilities include ensuring adherence to NRC policies and guidelines, contributing to operational planning, identifying solutions to problems, preparing reports for management, and ensuring that support activities align with project implementation. Specific duties include supervising support processes throughout the project management cycle, implementing internal control procedures, coordinating operational plans with program areas, ensuring quality and efficiency in support processes, contributing to the development of Standard Operating Procedures, and overseeing human resources processes in accordance with established guidelines. The Coordinator will also support the Unit Manager in analyzing and preparing for the opening, modification, or closure of offices within the unit.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a professional background in business administration, public accounting, economics, international relations, or related fields. They should have experience in financial coordination and logistics within humanitarian contexts, as well as experience working in complex and volatile environments. A minimum of three years of experience in financial responsibility, human resource management, administration, and logistics in humanitarian contexts is required. Candidates should have solid knowledge of labor, civil, and tax laws, experience working with donors and cooperation agencies, and experience in budget management and project monitoring. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and accounting/logistics systems is essential.

Educational Background:
A relevant degree in business administration, public accounting, economics, international relations, or a related field is required for this position. Candidates should have a strong academic background that supports their ability to perform the duties and responsibilities outlined in the job description.

Experience:
Candidates should have a minimum of three years of relevant experience in financial management, human resources, administration, and logistics, particularly in humanitarian settings. Experience in managing budgets, monitoring projects, and working with donors is highly desirable. Familiarity with complex and volatile contexts is also important for this role.

Languages:
Fluency in Spanish is mandatory, and verbal and written proficiency in English is desirable. Candidates who can communicate effectively in both languages will have a competitive advantage in this position.
