Job Overview: The EpiC Kazakhstan Office Assistant will be an integral part of the EpiC project, which is focused on achieving and maintaining HIV epidemic control in Central Asia. This position will involve a variety of administrative and office support duties aimed at creating a safe and welcoming workplace. The Office Assistant will work closely with the EpiC Kazakhstan Project Director and will be responsible for ensuring smooth office operations, supporting project activities, and facilitating communication among team members and external stakeholders. The role is crucial for maintaining the efficiency of the office and supporting the overall goals of the EpiC project, which aims to enhance HIV case-finding, prevention, and treatment programming in the region.
Duties and Responsibilities: The Office Assistant will perform a range of administrative tasks including serving as the primary point of contact for internal and external communications, managing incoming and outgoing mail, maintaining office cleanliness, and ensuring compliance with security" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">security-policies" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">security policies. Responsibilities also include coordinating team meetings, managing office supplies, providing logistical support for staff travel, and assisting with HR-related tasks such as tracking leave balances and onboarding new staff. Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Human Resources Management, or a related field. Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access) is essential. Prior experience in a non-governmental organization (NGO) is desirable, as is fluency in Kazakh, Russian, and English, with excellent oral and written communication skills being a must.
Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management, or a related field is required for this position.
