Job Overview:
As an HR Analyst within UNFPA’s Career Development & Talent Mobility Branch, you will play a crucial role in supporting data-informed HR and talent decisions. This position involves coordinating and implementing various HR projects, focusing on analytics, reporting, and organizational development. You will be responsible for translating HR data into actionable insights, which will help in enhancing the organizational culture and supporting talent development strategies. Your work will include analyzing HR data, designing dashboards, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed on time and meet the organization's strategic priorities. This role is pivotal in ensuring that UNFPA can effectively manage its human resources in alignment with its mission and goals.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Talent Analytics & Insights: Collect, clean, and integrate HR data from various sources, including ERP systems and employee surveys. Coordinate the implementation of employee engagement initiatives to enhance organizational culture. Analyze employee feedback and conduct statistical analyses to identify trends and predictive indicators. Design and maintain HR analytics dashboards to capture and analyze data related to talent management and organizational performance. Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on data analysis to HR leadership and business partners.
  • Project Coordination & Implementation: Support project coordination for various HR initiatives, including talent mobility and career development. Develop project plans, track deliverables, and monitor timelines and budgets. Organize meetings and prepare reports to communicate outcomes and insights to stakeholders. Ensure quality control across project outputs and maintain relevant resources on intranet portals. Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess strong analytical skills and experience in data collection, analysis, and reporting. Familiarity with ERP systems and statistical tools is desired. Strong project management skills are essential, along with the ability to work collaboratively in multicultural environments. Candidates should demonstrate integrity, commitment to UNFPA's mission, and embrace cultural diversity. Excellent communication skills are also required to effectively convey insights and recommendations to various stakeholders.

Educational Background:
An advanced university degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Economics, Organizational Development, Psychology, or related fields is required for this position. This educational background will provide the necessary foundation for understanding the complexities of human resources management and organizational development.

Experience:
The position requires first working experience in human resources management, talent analytics, and organizational development. Candidates should have experience with ERP systems and statistical analysis tools, as well as a strong understanding of project management principles. This experience will enable the HR Analyst to effectively support UNFPA's strategic priorities and contribute to the organization's goals.

Languages:
Fluency in English is mandatory for this position. Knowledge of other official UN languages, particularly French and/or Spanish, is considered desirable and may enhance a candidate's suitability for the role.
