Job Overview:
The position of UNOPS LICA6 involves a range of responsibilities centered around data collection and analysis. The successful candidate will be expected to utilize remote data collection methods and analyze both quantitative and qualitative data effectively. Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Implement remote data collection methodologies and ensure the integrity and accuracy of data collected.
  • Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to derive insights that inform project planning and execution.
  • Strengthen the capacities of national partners and institutions through training and support in data management and analysis.
  • Document lessons learned and best practices from data collection and analysis processes.
  • Prepare reports and presentations that communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with team members and partners to ensure alignment of data collection efforts with project goals.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in data collection and analysis to enhance project outcomes.

Required Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in data collection and analysis, particularly using remote methods.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
  • Experience in capacity building and training of national partners and institutions.
  • Excellent documentation skills to capture lessons learned and best practices.
  • Proficiency in data processing tools and software.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in English and French.

Educational Background:
A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as statistics, data science, social sciences, or a related discipline is required. Additional certifications in data analysis or project management would be advantageous.

Experience:
Candidates should have a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in data collection, analysis, and capacity building. Experience working with international organizations or in a similar context is preferred.

Languages:
Fluency in French is mandatory, and proficiency in English is considered an asset for effective communication within the organization and with partners.
