Job Overview: The position oversees the CDCS/AFD funded project, ensuring global coordination between SI, associated partners, and key stakeholders. The role requires the development of a vision and implementation strategy for the project, ensuring that it is delivered on time, within budget, and meets quality standards. Compliance with donor rules and regulations is crucial, as is external representation. The main challenges include ensuring coherence across project components to maximize relevance and impact, managing internal coordination among multiple bases and teams, and adhering to specific AFD procedures. In the initial months, the focus will be on monitoring preliminary studies prior to construction and launching complementary activities based on results and activity schedules, while facilitating information flow among all stakeholders.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Oversee the implementation of the CDCS/AFD funded project, ensuring alignment with SI's strategic objectives.
Coordinate with associated partners and key stakeholders to ensure effective project delivery.
Develop and implement a comprehensive project strategy that meets donor requirements and organizational goals.
Monitor project progress, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Facilitate communication and information sharing among all project stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with donor regulations and reporting requirements.
Represent SI in external meetings and forums related to the project.
Address challenges related to project coherence and internal coordination.
Lead preliminary studies and assessments prior to construction activities. 1

Provide regular updates and reports to senior management and stakeholders on project status and challenges.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field.
3-4 years of experience in the humanitarian sector.
0-2 years of experience in a similar position.
Strong project management skills and experience working with local actors.
Technical skills in WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene) are a strong asset but not mandatory.
Excellent writing and reporting skills.
Proven ability to coordinate and represent the organization externally.
Educational Background: Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor's degree, with a Master's degree being preferred. The educational background should be in a field relevant to humanitarian aid, project management, or a related discipline.
Experience: The position requires a minimum of 3-4 years of experience in the humanitarian sector, with 0-2 years of experience in a similar role. This experience should include project management and coordination, particularly in complex environments.
Languages: Fluency in English is mandatory. Proficiency in French is required for communication with French donors. Knowledge of Ukrainian or Russian is considered an asset, enhancing communication with local stakeholders and communities.

The role is based in Dnipro, Ukraine, and involves a salaried position starting from EUR 2860 gross per month, which includes a base salary and an annual leave allowance. Additionally, a monthly Per Diem of EUR 700 is provided. SI covers accommodation costs and travel expenses for expatriates. The organization implements a break system, allowing for time off every three months, along with an additional rest day per month worked. An insurance package is provided, covering healthcare expenses, including medical, surgical, dental, and repatriation costs. Living conditions in Dnipro are favorable, with access to amenities such as parks, restaurants, and supermarkets.
