Job Overview:
The National UNV Partnership Officer will work under the direct supervision of the Implementing Partnership Management Officer in UNICEF Bangladesh. This role involves managing partnerships with Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) to ensure compliance with UNICEF's established guidelines. The officer will conduct reviews of partnership documents, analyze data related to CSO partnerships, and contribute to financial and budgetary processes. The position requires maintaining accurate partner information, providing administrative support for financial assurance processes, and facilitating capacity-building sessions. The officer will also assist in compiling reports for management, ensuring that UNICEF's partnership processes are efficient and effective.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The National UNV Partnership Officer will be responsible for several key tasks: supporting the management of partnerships with CSOs, ensuring compliance with UNICEF procedures; conducting thorough reviews of partnership documents for accuracy and completeness; analyzing data across the CSO partnership portfolio to identify trends; contributing to financial processes by supporting simplification initiatives; monitoring and maintaining partner information in the database; liaising with program sections for timely document submission; providing administrative support for the HACT Financial Assurance process; offering technical support for partnership monitoring systems; organizing meetings and workshops; and assisting in report preparation for management review.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders. They should demonstrate a commitment to UNICEF's mission and values, particularly in advocating for children's rights. Proficiency in data analysis and reporting is essential, along with experience in partnership management or related fields. Strong organizational and communication skills are also required to effectively coordinate meetings and workshops.

Educational Background:
A bachelor's degree in social sciences, international relations, development studies, or a related field is required. Advanced degrees are preferred and may enhance the candidate's profile. Educational qualifications should reflect a strong understanding of child rights and development issues.

Experience:
Candidates should have at least 2-3 years of relevant experience in partnership management, project coordination, or a similar role within an international organization or NGO. Experience working with CSOs and understanding of financial management processes will be advantageous. Familiarity with UNICEF's policies and procedures is a plus.

Languages:
Fluency in English is mandatory, both written and spoken. Knowledge of Bengali is highly desirable, as it will facilitate communication with local partners and stakeholders. Additional languages may be considered an asset, depending on the context of the work.

This position is based in Dhaka, Bangladesh, and is a full-time role. The contract duration and specific terms will be discussed during the recruitment process.
