Job Overview:
The AI Solutions Analyst position at the World Bank Group is a critical role within the Information and Technology Solutions (ITS) Vice Presidential Unit. This position is designed for individuals who are passionate about leveraging artificial intelligence to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness within the organization. The analyst will be responsible for supporting the research, development, and implementation of advanced AI solutions tailored to meet the specific business needs of the World Bank Group. This role involves identifying opportunities for AI technology application, optimizing existing models, and integrating AI technologies into current workflows. The AI Solutions Analyst will also work closely with business stakeholders to apply AI tools that drive continuous improvement, ensuring that the organization remains at the forefront of technological advancements in the development sector.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The AI Solutions Analyst will have a diverse set of responsibilities, including:

• AI Solution Development & Architecture: Leading the design, development, and deployment of AI/ML solutions within enterprise AI platform tools and accelerators. This includes developing AI agents to automate workflows, optimizing machine learning models, and implementing models across various platforms such as Azure AI Foundry, AWS Bedrock, and Google Vertex AI.
• Data Integration & Pipeline Engineering: Building and maintaining data pipelines for model training and evaluation, integrating disparate data sources, and designing data pipelines optimized for AI/ML workloads.
• Standards & Best Practices: Establishing best practices for AI development and deployment, driving the use of AI-assisted software development tools, and ensuring responsible AI practices.
• Business Engagement: Acting as a subject matter expert for business teams, translating business requirements into technical solutions, and collaborating with product owners to prioritize AI initiatives.
• Collaboration & Enablement: Partnering with data engineers and architects to ensure seamless integration of AI capabilities and contributing to knowledge sharing through documentation and technical presentations.
• Coaching & Technical Mentorship: Providing technical guidance to vendor teams, conducting code reviews, and leading knowledge-sharing sessions to build capability within extended teams.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates for the AI Solutions Analyst position should possess a combination of education and experience that includes a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field, along with at least 2 years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Core skills required for this role include proficiency in automation and robotics, AI modeling, computer vision, deep learning, generative AI intelligence, large language models, machine learning, natural language processing, and advanced programming/coding skills. Additionally, candidates should demonstrate strong analytical reasoning, problem-solving abilities, and critical thinking skills. Awareness of corporate governance and software engineering practices is also essential.

Educational Background:
The educational background required for the AI Solutions Analyst position includes a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field such as computer science, information technology, or a related discipline. Candidates with a strong foundation in AI, machine learning, and data science will be particularly well-suited for this role. Relevant certifications, such as SAFe Practitioner or industry certifications in AI solutions, are also recommended to enhance a candidate's qualifications.

Experience:
The position requires candidates to have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a related field, which may include roles focused on AI development, data science, or information technology. Candidates with experience in developing and deploying AI solutions, as well as those who have worked with machine learning models and data integration, will be highly regarded. Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams and engaging with business stakeholders to drive AI initiatives is also beneficial.

Languages:
The mandatory language for this position is English, which is essential for effective communication within the organization and with stakeholders. While not required, proficiency in additional languages may be considered an asset, particularly if it aligns with the World Bank Group's diverse global operations.
