Job Overview:
The Operations Analyst (Digital Analyst) position is a critical role within the Digital Access Solutions and Impact team (WKDAX) at the World Bank Group. This position is designed to support the implementation of the Digital Access knowledge agenda, emphasizing sector analysis, research, and knowledge development. The Digital Analyst will engage in various activities, including conducting industry and market research, developing reusable knowledge products, and curating digital access-related materials. The role requires collaboration with sector and team leads, industry specialists, and regional teams to promote innovation and support transaction processing. The position is based in Washington, D.C., and may involve occasional travel as needed. The successful candidate will contribute to the development of knowledge products that inform policy dialogue and support country programs and projects.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the Operations Analyst include conducting industry and market research to inform knowledge products and operational engagement, staying current on industry, technology, and policy developments, and developing reusable knowledge products such as knowledge notes, playbooks, templates, and case studies related to digital access and infrastructure. The analyst will curate digital access-related materials in the Knowledge Bank platform, ensuring consistency and quality. They will work with IFC teams across regions to promote new business and innovation, disseminate knowledge products, and contribute to knowledge exchange with partners. The role also involves synthesizing complex quantitative and qualitative analysis into clear analytical tools and presentations, preparing effective presentations for knowledge events, and supporting the organization of such events. Additionally, the analyst will contribute to the development and reporting of Digital Access sector priorities for senior management and prepare analytical presentations and briefs to support internal decision-making.

Required Qualifications:
The position requires at least a bachelor's degree, with a graduate degree preferred. Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in analytical, research, consulting, policy, or knowledge-focused roles, particularly in international organizations or development institutions. Prior exposure to digital development, digital infrastructure, or technology policy is advantageous. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, along with sound business judgment to identify issues and present creative solutions. Proficiency in Excel and experience with data analysis tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, STATA, R, or Python is required. Candidates should also have experience preparing senior-level briefing materials and presentations, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple workstreams effectively.

Educational Background:
Candidates must possess at least a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as economics, business, public policy, or a related discipline. A graduate degree is preferred, as it demonstrates a higher level of expertise and understanding of complex analytical frameworks and methodologies relevant to the role.

Experience:
The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in roles that involve analytical work, research, consulting, or policy development. Experience in international organizations, development institutions, or consulting firms is highly desirable. Familiarity with digital development and technology policy will be considered an advantage, as it aligns with the responsibilities of the position.

Languages:
Fluency in English is mandatory for this position, as it is the primary language of communication within the organization. Knowledge of Spanish or French is considered a plus, as it may enhance communication with diverse stakeholders and partners in various regions.
