Job Overview: The Programme Officer position at UNICEF involves providing professional technical assistance and support for the design, planning, implementation, management, and evaluation of programme/project activities. The role also involves contributing to knowledge management through high-quality data collection and analysis, promoting institutional capacity building for child rights monitoring, advocating for children's and women's rights at various levels, facilitating partnerships for improved data collection and dissemination, and supporting national data generation efforts. The Programme Officer will also contribute to the preparation of programme reports and ensure the systematic inclusion of child rights indicators in data collection efforts.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a university degree in fields such as Social Sciences, International Relations, Government, Public Administration, Public Policy, Social Policy, Social Development, Community Development, Statistics, or another relevant technical field. A minimum of two years of relevant professional work experience is required, with experience in middle- to upper-income countries considered an asset.
