Job Overview:
The Online Volunteer position is designed to support the national outreach efforts for the International Year of the Volunteer (IVY) 2026, as coordinated by the Office of the National Commission on Social Welfare Promotion and the United Nations Volunteers (UNV). Volunteers will be responsible for raising public awareness about the Department of Social Development and Welfare (DSDW) Platform, which facilitates formal volunteer registration and documentation of volunteering activities across Thailand. The role requires volunteers to engage in digital outreach, utilizing social media to promote the IVY 2026 initiative and encourage participation in volunteer activities. Volunteers will be expected to share campaign materials, encourage peer engagement, and track engagement metrics to assess the impact of their outreach efforts.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Share approved campaign materials, including graphics, flyers, videos, captions, and key messages, on personal social media platforms to promote IVY 2026 and the DSDW Platform.
  • Encourage peers, networks, and organizations to submit their volunteering activities via LINE or Google Form.
  • Maintain a posting frequency of approximately 2-3 posts per week to ensure consistent outreach.
  • Track and report basic engagement metrics such as likes, shares, comments, and clicks on a weekly basis using a shared Google Sheet.
  • Adhere to all posting, reporting, and branding guidelines provided by the Office of the National Commission on Social Welfare Promotion and UNV.
  • Participate in a mandatory online orientation session at the start of the assignment, which will be led by the Office of the National Commission on Social Welfare Promotion and UNV.
  • Amplify approved messages through personal social media channels and report engagement metrics to support monitoring of campaign reach.

  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and digital engagement strategies.
  • Ability to create engaging content and communicate effectively with diverse audiences.
  • Familiarity with volunteerism and its impact on community development.
