Job Overview:
The internship-position" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">internship position is based at the headquarters of SOLIDARITES INTERNATIONAL in Clichy, where the General Services team plays a central role in the organization and smooth operation of workspaces. The intern will gain insight into the functioning of General Services within an international NGO, understand the logistical and organizational challenges faced by the headquarters, and develop transversal skills such as organization, coordination, and internal communication. This internship will provide the intern with their first experience in a professional associative and humanitarian environment, allowing them to contribute to the effective functioning of the office and the maintenance of an adequate working environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:
As part of the General Services team, the intern will assist the General Services Manager in their tasks aimed at ensuring the proper functioning of the offices and maintaining a conducive work environment. Under the supervision of the General Services Manager, the intern will:
  • Support the setup and organization of common areas (cafeteria, meeting rooms, convivial spaces, etc.).
  • Contribute to the maintenance tracking of the premises.
  • Assist in managing mail and packages.
  • Participate in managing office supplies.
  • Contribute to the material organization of office life (small adjustments, setting up meetings, events, etc.).
  • Participate in updating documents and displays related to General Services.
  • Assist with transversal tasks within the General Services team.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates should be currently enrolled in a training program (Bac +2 to Bac +5), ideally in logistics and general services. They should have a strong interest in the associative and humanitarian sector, possess organizational skills, rigor, and curiosity, and demonstrate good interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team. Proficiency in office tools (Office Suite) is also required.

Educational Background:
The ideal candidate should be pursuing a degree in logistics or general services, with a focus on practical applications in an organizational context. A background in humanitarian studies or related fields would be advantageous but is not mandatory.

Experience:
This internship is designed for individuals who may not have extensive professional experience but are eager to learn and gain their first exposure to the humanitarian sector. Previous internships or volunteer work in similar environments would be beneficial but are not required.

Languages:
Fluency in French is mandatory, as the working environment is primarily French-speaking. Proficiency in English is a plus, as it may be necessary for communication with international teams and stakeholders.

Additional Notes:
The internship is set to start on March 2, 2026, and will last for 6 months. The position is based at the headquarters of SOLIDARITES INTERNATIONAL in Clichy-la-Garenne (92110), Ile-de-France, France, and does not allow for remote work. Occasional external travel may be required for small purchases. The intern will receive a legal stipend of 15% of the hourly social security ceiling, calculated pro-rata based on actual hours worked. Transportation costs will be covered at 50% by SOLIDARITES INTERNATIONAL, and meal vouchers worth €8.90 per day will be provided, with a 60% contribution from the organization.
