Job Overview: The position of Training Facilitator for Adaptive Social Protection involves delivering training sessions aimed at enhancing the capacity of the social protection system in Uzbekistan. Duties and Responsibilities:
Participate in familiarization sessions on ASP training modules and materials to ensure consistent delivery across locations.
Deliver 3-day ASP training sessions for assigned cohorts using participatory methods such as case studies and group exercises.
Support the delivery of training modules focused on the concepts and elements of ASP.
Administer pre- and post-training evaluations to assess learning outcomes.
Collect participant feedback and analyze results to propose improvements.
Coordinate with UNICEF and NASP focal points to finalize training agendas and materials.
Prepare session completion notes and brief reports summarizing key issues and recommendations after each training session.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a university degree in social policy, economics, public administration, social sciences, climate adaptation, disaster risk reduction, or related fields. Additionally, they should have at least 5 years of relevant experience in social protection and/or training facilitation, with demonstrated experience in adult learning and interactive facilitation methods. Familiarity with the social protection context in Uzbekistan, particularly with INSON centres, is considered an asset. The ability to travel domestically to training locations is also required.
Educational Background: A university degree in relevant fields such as social policy, economics, public administration, social sciences, climate adaptation, or disaster risk reduction is mandatory for this position. This educational background is essential to understand the complexities of social protection systems and to effectively facilitate training sessions.
Experience: The position requires a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in social protection and/or training facilitation.
