Job Overview: The position of Associate within the SRMNH portfolio at WJCF is designed for a highly motivated individual who will lead analytical, strategic, and implementation workstreams. The Associate will be responsible for driving high-quality analyses, designing frameworks for intervention models, leading research activities, and managing relationships with government stakeholders. This role is crucial for guiding program execution, developing strategic documentation, and ensuring the timely delivery of key outputs. The Associate will work on expanding access to comprehensive sexual and reproductive health services and strengthening maternal and newborn care across India. The position requires strong problem-solving abilities, the capacity to work independently in complex environments, and the ability to drive major workstreams effectively. The Associate will also contribute to the development of multi-year strategies aimed at reducing maternal and neonatal mortality and broadening access to high-quality SRH services.
Duties and Responsibilities: The Associate will lead analytical and programmatic workstreams across SRMNH initiatives, ensuring evidence-based decision-making and strategic planning. Responsibilities include overseeing the development of dashboards, scorecards, forecasting tools, and monitoring frameworks to enable data-driven governance. The Associate will guide advanced analyses on various health outcomes, direct structured research efforts, design pilot frameworks, and build relationships with government officials and technical partners. They will ensure the quality and timeliness of program outputs, mentor junior staff, identify new opportunities, and represent WJCF in high-level forums. The role also involves operational leadership to ensure seamless planning and execution of activities across workstreams, driving stakeholder engagement strategies, and developing high-quality proposals for funding and partnerships.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Public Health, Economics, Business, Population Studies, Social Sciences, or a related field. A minimum of 4 years of professional experience in demanding, results-oriented environments is required, with experience in advanced analytics projects considered a plus. The ideal candidate should demonstrate the ability to lead large projects, design interventions, and contribute to proposal development. Excellent analytical skills, strong written and oral communication abilities, and an entrepreneurial mindset are essential. Candidates should also have strong diplomatic and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop and maintain relationships across diverse stakeholders.
Educational Background: The educational background required for this position includes a Bachelor’s degree or higher in relevant fields such as Public Health, Economics, Business, Population Studies, or Social Sciences.
