Job Overview: The Humanitarian Program Coordinator will work under the supervision of the director" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">Country Director and play a crucial role in developing and implementing the Country Strategy for Action contre la Faim in Mozambique. This position is pivotal in ensuring that the organization's programs in Mueda align with ACF standards and donor regulations. The coordinator will be responsible for the initiation, monitoring, and execution of various programs while managing support teams to ensure effective program delivery. Additionally, the role involves representing ACF to district authorities, humanitarian actors, and other stakeholders, thereby facilitating collaboration and communication across different levels of operation. The coordinator will also oversee security management in the area of concern, ensuring that all activities are conducted safely and in accordance with ACF standards.
Duties and Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities of the Humanitarian Program Coordinator include coordinating the implementation of the ACF country strategy, managing the overall execution of programs, and leading a team that consists of a WASH Supervisor, a Health and Nutrition Supervisor, and a logistics-officer" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">Logistics Officer. The coordinator will facilitate strong relationships with coordination teams and represent ACF in interactions with regional authorities, UN agencies, and NGOs at both field and regional levels. Required Qualifications: Candidates for this position must hold a Master's Degree in Humanitarian Program Coordination, International Development, or International Relations. Familiarity with ACF's intervention sectors, including Food Security and Livelihoods (FSL), Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WaSH), Nutrition, and Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) is essential. The monthly gross salary ranges from 2597 to 2968 euros, depending on experience, and includes a 13th-month salary. Non-French citizens will have their pension insurance reimbursed at 16% of the gross monthly salary. Employees can expect an annual salary increase of 6% after each 12 months of continuous service. Additional benefits include a monthly per diem and living allowance of 630 euros net, a country allowance of 150 euros, and a child allowance of 1500 euros per year per child present in the country of origin, with a maximum of 6000 euros per year. Transportation and accommodation costs will be covered, and ACF provides comprehensive medical coverage for employees and their dependents. The organization also offers 25 days of paid leave per year, 20 rest and recuperation (RnR) days, and reimbursement for airfare to the chosen break destination.
