Duties and Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities of the Individual Contractor include: A. Contract Administration & Oversight: Supporting the management of service, supply, and equipment maintenance contracts, ensuring compliance with contract terms and conditions; monitoring contract performance, including deliverables, timelines, invoices, and adherence to obligations; conducting periodic checks on contractors’ performance for contracts involving maintenance/repair of UN-owned equipment and assets; documenting and tracking contract violations; and following up on corrective actions and risk mitigation. B. Procurement & Technical Support: Assisting in drafting Statements of Work (SOWs), Requirements, Source Selection Plans, evaluation matrices, and Requests for Proposals (RFPs); analyzing procurement requests, advising requisitioners, and ensuring data accuracy from award to contract termination; supporting post-award administration including amendments, extensions, and contract close-out processes. C. Compliance, Quality Assurance & Issue Resolution: Ensuring contractor compliance with contracts and coordinating with Procurement, Legal, and other units on claims, disputes, warranties, and contractual remedies; responding to audit observations and supporting the implementation of Standard Operating Procedures and administrative instructions; reviewing invoices and verifying payments against contract terms, including addressing non-payment, overpayment, and underpayment issues. D. Data Management & Reporting: Maintaining organized contract files and monitoring contract lifecycles, renewals, and documentation; providing analytical support through dashboards, charts, and reports for planning and decision-making; consolidating procurement data and preparing updates for management. E. Coordination & Stakeholder Engagement: Maintaining positive relationships with contractors and stakeholders involved in contract delivery; liaising with internal units, suppliers, and clients to ensure cohesive contract management processes.
Required Qualifications: The required qualifications for this position include a High School Diploma as a minimum requirement. Additionally, a CIPL Level 4 Diploma, a Master's degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, or a Master's degree in Business Administration/Finance and Accounting are considered assets. Additional training in data science is also advantageous. Candidates should possess strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of procurement and contract management principles, as well as familiarity with supply chain processes and UN administrative procedures.
Educational Background: Candidates are required to have at least a High School Diploma.
