Job Overview:
The position of Data Analyst for Cybersecurity Incident Response is crucial in analyzing and integrating data from alerts, incidents, and monitoring systems. The role involves identifying relevant patterns and trends, supporting the definition of indicators and predictive models, and producing analyses and visualizations to aid decision-making. Duties and Responsibilities:
The Data Analyst will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including:
  • Analyzing data from alerts and incidents to identify relevant patterns and trends.
  • Integrating data from monitoring, auditing, and emergency responses to ensure consistency and traceability of incident records.
  • Supporting the construction of indicators that guide rapid and coordinated actions.
  • Collaborating with technical teams to define metrics and parameters.
  • Contributing to predictive models aimed at anticipating risks and participating in post-incident analysis to extract trends and improvement opportunities.
  • Developing analyses that support decision-making for tactical-operational alert systems and high-level strategic networks.
  • Creating visualizations and reports for clear communication of critical information.
  • Supporting initiatives that enhance the preventive and analytical capacity of the project.
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of analytical practices applied to cybersecurity. 1

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a Master's degree or equivalent in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Information Security, or related fields. Alternatively, a Bachelor's degree in the mentioned areas combined with two additional years of relevant experience will be considered in lieu of the advanced degree. Candidates with a Master's degree do not require prior professional experience, while those with a Bachelor's degree must have at least two years of experience in data analysis applied to operational environments, particularly in contexts involving monitoring, critical events, or incident response.

Educational Background:
The educational background required for this position includes a Master's degree in relevant fields such as Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or Information Security. A Bachelor's degree in these areas is acceptable if accompanied by two years of additional relevant experience. This educational requirement ensures that candidates have a strong foundation in analytical skills and technical knowledge necessary for the role.

Experience:
