Job Overview:
The Fundraising Officer (Head of marketing" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">Digital Marketing - Performance & Growth) will be responsible for developing and implementing the overall digital fundraising strategy for UNICEF Philippines. This role involves leading fundraising campaigns, enhancing digital infrastructure, and managing performance metrics to promote donor acquisition and retention. The officer will work closely with the Chief of Private Fundraising & Partnerships to set annual income and donor targets for both cash and pledge modalities. The position requires a strategic approach to digital fundraising, ensuring that all activities align with UNICEF's mission and objectives, particularly in the context of emergency fundraising when necessary. The officer will also oversee the digital support staff and ensure compliance with security" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">security and performance standards.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement the overall digital fundraising strategy and workplan with annual targets in collaboration with the Chief of PFP and Individual Giving Manager.
  • Execute day-to-day digital acquisition and retention activities.
  • Maintain and enhance UNICEF’s donation infrastructure and e-Commerce ecosystem.
  • Provide strategic guidance and support to the PFP and Communications teams.
  • Monitor and evaluate digital fundraising activities against key performance indicators and budget expenses.
  • Supervise and manage digital support staff, anticipating future expansion.
  • Act as the focal point for digital aspects of emergency fundraising, developing campaigns as needed.
  • Ensure regular security assessments of donation sites and monitor PCI-DSS compliance.
  • Stay updated on global PFP plans and best practices to apply them to private sector fundraising in the Philippines.

Required Qualifications:
  • A university degree in Marketing, Digital Media & Advertising, Business, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Additional training and certification in digital channels is an asset.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience in digital marketing or related fields, either in digital agencies or client-side roles.
  • Experience with data-driven and AI-enabled tools for improving digital performance and audience insights.
  • Proven experience managing an annual digital paid media advertising budget of $1 million+ and achieving income targets.
  • Experience in establishing and scaling in-house digital teams or managing agency departments.
  • Proven success in launching and optimizing campaigns with demonstrated financial results.
  • Strong project management skills and experience in digital marketing and sales or private sector fundraising.

Educational Background:
Candidates must possess a university degree in a relevant field such as Marketing, Digital Media & Advertising, Business, Data Analytics, or Information Systems. Additional certifications or training in digital marketing channels are considered advantageous and may enhance a candidate's profile.

Experience:
The position requires a minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience in digital marketing or related fields. Candidates should have experience in both agency-side and client-side roles, demonstrating a strong understanding of digital performance marketing, audience acquisition, and campaign management. Direct experience with profit and loss responsibility and managing substantial advertising budgets is essential.

Languages:
Fluency in English, both verbal and written, is mandatory. Knowledge of the local language is considered an asset and may enhance communication with local stakeholders.
