This program aims to enhance the quality of reproductive health services, strengthen national capacities, and improve data production and utilization for national planning. The online volunteer will work under the direct supervision of the Personal Assistant to the Representative and will coordinate with the Resident Representative of UNFPA Burundi to set priorities. The role involves various tasks that contribute to the overall mission of UNFPA in Burundi, focusing on improving reproductive health services and addressing social and gender norms.
Duties and Responsibilities: The Volontaire en ligne will be responsible for a variety of tasks including: assisting in the drafting of speeches, briefing notes, and talking points; writing official correspondence and institutional messages; conducting contextual research and partner analysis; supporting the Personal Assistant of the Representative with office and secretarial tasks while adhering to UNFPA guidelines and confidentiality standards; maintaining the representation's physical and electronic filing system; managing the Representative's agenda, appointments, and meetings, including preparing meeting minutes; assisting in travel planning with the Senior Driver; facilitating and preparing essential documents for the Resident Representative's meetings and missions; preparing correspondence and directives for the Resident Representative's signature and following up as necessary; organizing commemorative days mandated by UNFPA; performing office tasks such as printing, scanning, and photocopying; and providing support in other areas as needed, including preparing institutional presentations.
Required Qualifications: Candidates for this position should possess strong organizational and communication skills, with a keen attention to detail. Proficiency in office software and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently are essential. The ideal candidate should demonstrate a commitment to the values and mission of UNFPA, particularly in the areas of reproductive health and gender equality.
