Job Overview:
The Senior Procurement Officer (Purchasing Associate III) plays a crucial role in supporting procurement activities for the STRIDES Thailand project, which is part of the Asia Pacific Hub. This position is responsible for the procurement of materials, parts, and equipment necessary for the company's operations. The officer will submit and process purchase orders in accordance with established policies and procedures, ensuring that procurement activities are conducted efficiently and effectively. The role also involves monitoring departmental costs, schedules, and performance metrics to facilitate the approval and payment of transactions. A key expectation is to coordinate purchasing activities with other departments to maintain inventory levels as planned, ensuring that the STRIDES Thailand/Asia Regional Activity has the necessary resources to operate smoothly.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Senior Procurement Officer will be responsible for a wide range of duties including collaborating with the STRIDES Operations Team to ensure efficient acquisition of goods and services. This includes preparing, maintaining, and reviewing purchasing files, reports, and price lists specific to the STRIDES Thailand/Asia Regional Activity. The officer will assist in developing bid specifications for procurements and will work closely with Global Procurement and STRIDES Operations teams to ensure that procurement packages receive the necessary review and approval. Responsibilities also include reviewing requisition orders for accuracy, contacting suppliers to schedule deliveries, resolving issues related to shortages or late deliveries, and ensuring compliance with contract terms. The officer will approve bills for payment, maintain documentation of purchase orders, and verify invoices for payment with accounting. Additionally, the officer will conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with purchasing policies and will interact with both internal and external customers to meet purchasing needs while adhering to government regulations and company procedures. The role requires analyzing quotations, selecting suppliers, and ensuring that the STRIDES global procurement tracker is updated regularly with procurement activities.

Required Qualifications:
