Job Overview:

Additionally, candidates should have at least 5–7 years of relevant professional experience in energy, climate change, or sustainable development. Demonstrated experience in coordinating with government ministries and facilitating stakeholder consultations is essential. Experience working in the Solomon Islands or similar Small Island Developing States (SIDS) is highly desirable, along with familiarity with cooling, refrigeration, air-conditioning, energy efficiency, and related processes.

Educational Background:
A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field such as energy, environmental studies, climate change, economics, engineering, or public policy is required for this position. This educational background is essential for understanding the complexities of energy systems, climate policies, and sustainable development practices necessary for the role.

Experience:
The position requires candidates to have a minimum of 5–7 years of professional experience in relevant fields such as energy, climate change, or sustainable development.
