This program aims to enhance the quality of reproductive health services, strengthen institutional capacities, and improve data production and utilization for national planning. The online volunteer will work closely with the Gender and Human RightsProgramme Officer and the UNFPA Resident Representative to prioritize tasks and contribute to the program's transformative results. The role involves supporting the integration of gender and inclusion in project documents, drafting analytical notes and practical guides, and producing awareness-raising content such as articles and briefs. The volunteer will also monitor policies and best practices related to gender and inclusion, ensuring that these principles are embedded in all aspects of the program.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Support the integration of gender and inclusion in project documentation, ensuring that all materials reflect these critical aspects.
Draft analytical notes and practical guides that provide insights and recommendations on gender and inclusion issues.
Produce awareness-raising content, including articles and briefs, to promote understanding and engagement with gender and diversity topics.
Monitor and analyze policies and best practices related to gender and inclusion, providing feedback and suggestions for improvement.
Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to ensure that gender and inclusion are prioritized in all program activities.
Participate in meetings and discussions to share insights and contribute to the development of strategies that enhance gender equality and inclusion.
Required Qualifications: Candidates should possess a strong understanding of gender issues and a commitment to promoting diversity and inclusion. They should have excellent writing and communication skills, with the ability to produce clear and engaging content. Familiarity with gender policies and best practices is essential, as is the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Proficiency in analytical thinking and problem-solving is also required, along with a proactive approach to tasks and responsibilities.
Educational Background: A background in social sciences, gender studies, international development, or a related field is preferred.
