Job Overview:
The Online Volunteer position at UNESCO Accra is designed to enhance the organization's online presence and communication strategies. The volunteer will play a crucial role in planning and producing engaging multimedia content that resonates with national audiences. This role involves developing social media components for communication campaigns, analyzing their effectiveness, and ensuring that messaging aligns with UNESCO's branding. The volunteer will collaborate closely with the UNESCO Accra office team and the UNESCO DPI Team in Paris to maintain consistency in communication across all platforms. The position is vital for increasing awareness of UNESCO's initiatives and fostering a deeper understanding of its objectives in Ghana.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Online Volunteer will be responsible for a variety of tasks aimed at strengthening UNESCO Accra's online presence. Key duties include:

• Developing and analyzing social media components for communication campaigns to maximize outreach.
• Collaborating with the UNESCO Accra office team to ensure messaging and branding consistency.
• Consulting with the UNESCO DPI Team on messaging and branding strategies.
• Monitoring and evaluating the impact of communication materials on social media, including demographic analyses of target audiences.
• Managing digital communication channels, including websites and social media, and supporting the development of informational and promotional materials such as fact sheets, brochures, posters, infographics, website content, e-newsletters, and webinars.
• Reporting on developments, trends, and attitudes related to communication efforts.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates for the Online Volunteer position should possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal. They should have experience in social media management and content creation, with a good understanding of multimedia tools and platforms. Familiarity with UNESCO's mission and objectives is advantageous, as is the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. The ideal candidate should also demonstrate creativity and initiative in developing engaging content that aligns with UNESCO's goals.

Educational Background:
A background in communications, media studies, public relations, or a related field is preferred for this position. Candidates should have a solid understanding of digital communication strategies and social media dynamics. Experience:
