Duties and Responsibilities:
Support the Private Sector Partnerships Specialist Adviser (50%) and the UK Director (50%) in delivering key tasks necessary to achieve NRC UK's private fundraising and broader objectives.
Provide administrative support to the Specialist Adviser on tasks essential for meeting fundraising targets, which includes communications and relationship management, prospect research, due diligence, and organizing meetings and events.
Assist the UK Director with administrative tasks such as communications, organizing and attending both external and internal meetings and events, taking notes and minutes, conducting research and analysis, preparing documents, and coordinating input into internal reports, including the annual report.
Offer additional ad-hoc administrative support to the NRC UK team as required.
Execute existing work plans and meet objectives and deadlines with oversight and support from the Adviser and Director.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a minimum of three years of progressive professional experience, preferably within the UK Third Sector, in areas such as business development, advocacy, fundraising, and general administrative duties. A Bachelor's degree in Social Science, Politics, Law, Communications, International Relations, or a relevant field is required, although equivalent experience may be accepted in lieu of formal qualifications. Additionally, candidates should demonstrate experience in prospect research and the ability to identify partnership opportunities based on criteria provided by NRC.
