Job Overview:
The Global Diagnostic Team (GDT) at CHAI plays a crucial role in supporting Ministries of Health and CHAI country teams by addressing barriers to access and promoting a competitive market for essential diagnostic tests. The team is responsible for coordinating global diagnostic access efforts, collaborating with diagnostic manufacturers, governments, and multilateral organizations to reduce prices and develop strategies that enhance access to diagnostic tests. Duties and Responsibilities:
The responsibilities of the Global Diagnostic Team Member include supporting CHAI’s market shaping engagement on maternal health diagnostics and other innovative diagnostic technologies. The individual will lead the preparation of high-quality presentations, reports, and analyses to inform discussions at both global and country levels regarding new products. Conducting quantitative and qualitative analyses to inform supplier engagements is essential, as is supporting in-country planning around new product introductions, which involves strategic alignment, policymaking, supply chain management, and resource mobilization. The role also requires proactive relationship management with key external partners, supporting fundraising efforts through background research and proposal development, and tracking developments in the diagnostics landscape.
