Job Overview:
The position of IC for Project Reporting under the ASGM Project involves providing comprehensive reporting services for the Artisanal and Small-Scale Gold Mining (ASGM) project. The individual contractor will be responsible for compiling and analyzing project data, preparing reports that reflect the progress and impact of the project, and ensuring that all reporting meets the standards set by UNDP. The contractor will work closely with project stakeholders to gather necessary information and will be expected to contribute to the overall success of the project by providing timely and accurate reports. The role requires a strong understanding of project management and reporting processes, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Compile and analyze project data to prepare comprehensive reports on the ASGM project’s progress and outcomes.
  • Ensure that all reports are aligned with UNDP’s reporting standards and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with project team members and stakeholders to gather relevant information for reporting purposes.
  • Monitor project activities and provide feedback on performance indicators.
  • Assist in the preparation of presentations and other communication materials related to project reporting.
  • Respond to inquiries regarding project reports and provide clarifications as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of all reporting activities and documentation.
  • Participate in project meetings and contribute to discussions on project performance and reporting.

Required Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in project reporting and data analysis, preferably in a development context.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and present it in a clear and concise manner.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using reporting software and tools.
  • Familiarity with UNDP’s reporting standards and procedures is an advantage.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Educational Background:
A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as project management, international development, or social sciences is required. A master’s degree in a related field is preferred and may be considered an asset.

Experience:
At least 3-5 years of professional experience in project reporting, monitoring, and evaluation, preferably within the UN system or other international organizations. Experience working on projects related to sustainable development or environmental management is highly desirable.

Languages:
Fluency in English is mandatory. Knowledge of local languages spoken in Pakistan is an advantage and may enhance communication with local stakeholders.

Additional Notes:
The contract duration for this position is a total of 190 working days spread over 12 months, commencing from the date of signing the contract. This position is classified as an individual contractor role, and applicants are expected to submit their proposals directly through the UNDP supplier portal. The deadline for submission is set for March 3, 2026, at 5:00 AM New York time. The position is open to both national and international candidates.
