Job Overview:
The position of Deltidskonsulent is a part-time role aimed at initiating a new senior community specifically designed for elderly individuals with a refugee background. This initiative is part of the newly launched project 'Mangfoldige samtalecafeer for seniorer med flygtningebaggrund', which seeks to combat loneliness and enhance mental health among this demographic. The consultant will be responsible for establishing the senior community at one of the accommodation centers for newly arrived refugees in Copenhagen. The role involves supporting volunteers in their efforts to empower elderly refugees through community engagement, focusing on well-being, networking, empowerment, Danish conversation training, and familiarization with rights and opportunities in Denmark.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The primary responsibilities of the Deltidskonsulent include:
  • Ensuring the recruitment of volunteers for the project and supporting their efforts in establishing the senior community aimed at elderly refugees.
  • Conducting training sessions and enhancing the skills of volunteers with a focus on conversation training and empowerment.
  • Strengthening the volunteers' work with Danish conversation training tailored for elderly refugees within the community.

Required Qualifications:
