Job Overview:
The position of UN Volunteer for the AIDERS Community of Practice involves supporting the operational activities of the WHO Collaboratory, specifically aimed at enhancing the responsible use of artificial intelligence (AI) in emergency settings. Duties and Responsibilities:
The UN Volunteer will have a range of responsibilities over a 12-week period, including: 1) Moderating daily operations of the Community of Practice (CoP), which involves checking the platform twice on weekdays, responding to inquiries within 24 hours, and onboarding new members with a welcome message and orientation. 2) Maintaining community hygiene by keeping pinned posts updated and addressing sensitive issues promptly. 3) Developing and implementing a weekly engagement program that includes operational tips on AI use, polls for member priorities, and discussion threads focused on emergency scenarios. 4) Supporting the establishment of two working groups, including creating pages, charters, and onboarding posts. 5) Assisting in the development of knowledge products, such as prompt packs and case cards, to enhance the community's resources. 6) Monitoring and reporting on community metrics weekly, including member statistics and engagement levels, and preparing a final report summarizing the KPIs and recommendations for future cycles.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess strong community management skills, excellent written communication abilities, and a solid understanding of AI concepts in emergency contexts. The role requires the ability to deliver structured outputs on time and to engage effectively with community members. Familiarity with public health and emergency response frameworks will be advantageous. Additionally, candidates should demonstrate problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Educational Background:
A background in public health, community management, or a related field is preferred. Candidates should have a strong understanding of health emergencies and the role of technology, particularly AI, in enhancing health outcomes. Relevant certifications or training in community engagement or public health will be beneficial.

Experience:
The position requires candidates to have prior experience in community management or public health initiatives, particularly in emergency settings. Experience with AI applications in health or emergency response is highly desirable. Languages:
