Job Overview:
The position of Pasante de Operaciones de Tecnologías de la Información is designed for individuals who are currently enrolled in a university program or have recently graduated. The intern will work under the direct supervision of the IT Operations Associate, supporting the development and execution of operational activities required by the unit. The intern will be responsible for maintaining organized and updated documentation, ensuring that all records are available as required by the organization. This role is crucial for enhancing the efficiency of the IT unit and supporting the overall mission of WFP. The intern will engage in various tasks that contribute to the effective management of technology processes, documentation, and user support, thereby gaining valuable experience in the humanitarian sector and IT operations.

Duties and Responsibilities:
1) Documentation, Reports, and Processes: Strengthen knowledge management within the IT unit by generating supporting documentation and resources that facilitate effective and efficient process management by the unit's personnel. This includes the creation and dissemination of applicable documentation such as Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), manuals, and checklists, as well as the development and updating of content on the wiki for end-users. 2) Help Desk and Support: Provide first-level support ensuring compliance with service level agreements required by the organization, based on ITIL best practices. This involves delivering efficient technical support for hardware and WFP users (both end-users and IT staff), managing, escalating, and resolving service requests, incidents, and reported problems. Additionally, the intern will be responsible for the configuration and assignment of computing equipment for end-users. 3) Support other activities inherent to the position as designated by the supervisor.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must be enrolled in a recognized undergraduate program (minimum seventh semester) or a postgraduate program in Systems Engineering or related fields. Recent graduates (within the last 12 months) are also eligible to apply. Desired experience includes familiarity with computer equipment configuration and Office 365, as well as SharePoint. Candidates should possess problem-solving skills, particularly in troubleshooting networks, computers, and devices using creativity and technical knowledge. Time management skills are essential, enabling the intern to navigate tasks and responsibilities effectively while prioritizing their schedule. A positive attitude and proactivity in facing challenges are also important. Competencies required include teamwork, strong interpersonal skills, the ability to work in a multicultural and multi-ethnic environment with sensitivity and respect for diversity, planning and organization skills, and a commitment to continuous learning.

Educational Background:
Candidates should be currently enrolled in or have recently completed a degree in Systems Engineering or a related field. The position is open to those who are at least in their seventh semester of undergraduate studies or have graduated within the last year. This educational background is essential to ensure that the intern possesses the necessary technical knowledge and skills to effectively contribute to the IT operations of WFP.

Experience:
The position is suitable for candidates who are either currently enrolled in a relevant academic program or have recently graduated. While prior work experience is not mandatory, any experience related to IT support, computer configuration, or office software will be considered an asset. Languages:
